Last week, the CyberSentry program, managed by CISA, was  announced  through  a blog and webpage on cisa.gov/CyberSentry.  This program  collaborates  with  significant  network operators supporting National Critical Functions (NCFs)  to  detect  and  monitor  cyber  threats,   actively hunt   for malicious activity, and provide security recommendations to enhance overall network and control system security.
With increasing network intrusions on critical infrastructure organizations, CyberSentry offers a voluntary partnership opportunity to strengthen threat detection capabilities.

On Thursday, the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) released its 2023 State of Reliability (SOR) report, emphasizing the critical role of cyber and physical security in maintaining the reliability of the bulk power system (BPS). Despite security challenges in 2022, the BPS remained resilient, with no incidents affecting overall reliability, although there were notable distribution outages caused by physical security attacks.
NERC  called  for  ongoing  development  of security standards, adapting to the evolving threat landscape and incorporating cyber-informed planning to strengthen the robustness of  grid   technologies.
